Wildfire Hazard Mitigation

Through funding from the Forest Enhancement Society of BC (FESBC), Central Chilcotin Rehabilitation (CCR) has been undertaking wildfire risk reduction work in the area.

So far, we have treated over 10,000 hectares to mitigate wildfire risk to our forests and communities.

This ongoing work will help the communities and the forests in the area be better prepared for a wildfire event that could otherwise have devastating consequences.
